What we offer
We offer a week long intensive economic development course designed to increase the understanding of economic development. Our purpose is to provide those interested in economic development, or new to the field, with a foundation of primary elements of the economic development profession.

The New England Economic Development Course has been successfully serving the needs of those interested in economic development for 39 years. The course rotates around the New England states with many participants coming from all other regions. This time of year is spectacular in New England.

The program is designed to enable you to play an effective role in economic development in your area and to provide a foundation for those interested in a career path in the economic development profession.
Graduation
Upon successfully competing the course, a certificate will be given. This course, accredited by the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), is part of the core curriculum required to qualify for IEDC’s Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) exam.
