The program is designed to enable you to play an effective role in economic development in your area and to provide a foundation for those inter­ested in a career path in the economic develop­ment profession.   This course, accredited by the Interna­tional Economic Development Council (IEDC), is part of the core curriculum required to qualify for IEDC’s Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) exam.
